About Donna

Donna Lott is insightfully, delightfully funny. A gifted Christian speaker and Bible Teacher, Donna is in her element speaking at retreats, conferences, and women’s events. Her words extend an invitation to inspiration. She artfully weaves life experiences and Bible truths into messages that encourage, enlighten, and entertain. A natural communicator, Donna is "humor with a message" personified. She loves the sound of Bible pages turning and women laughing. Whether ministering in a small setting or in a conference, Donna's passion and purpose is sharing the gospel of Christ through Light and Laughter Ministries.

Donna loves the Lord. A Bible study junkie, she finds the word of God exciting, fascinating, and relevant. Donna accepts full responsibility if your women walk away from a Light and Laughter ministry event having fallen totally in love with God and His word. She cannot, however, be held liable for injuries resulting from individuals falling out of their chairs laughing.

More about Donna

Donna was propelled into the word of God when she was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease that leads to blindness. Now legally blind, she has found alternative ways to “read” and study God's word. Physically, Donna depends on a sighted guide - spiritually, she's guided by an unseen hand. As her eyesight fades she is determined to walk by faith and not by sight.

Since her speaking ministry was launched in 2005, Donna has been inspiring and entertaining audiences with her warmth, hope, and humor. Donna is the prayer coordinator for Real Women/Real Ministry of Atlanta, Georgia. She also serves on the Women’s Ministry Council in her home church. She and her husband, Don, teach adult Bible study classes and serve as training coordinators for the church’s evangelism program.

Donna earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from North Georgia College. She worked as a crisis counselor, a youth minister, a teacher’s assistant, and also assisted blind students at the University of Texas. She has written and facilitated Bible studies for more than twenty years.

Donna currently lives in Buford, Georgia, with her husband, Don, and their three young adult sons. Donna can be found most days enjoying life and managing difficult circumstances with "God, a Grandé Latté, and a Good Laugh." Women's Retreats
